911 - TARGA SC
911 – TARGA SC
Interior
The interior features red tartan seat inserts paired with black leather bolsters, creating a striking contrast inside the cabin. A classic three-spoke Porsche steering wheel sits in front of a traditional analog gauge cluster, while the simple dashboard and manual gear lever highlight the car’s focused, driver-oriented design.

Engine and Transmission
Power comes from a 3.0-liter air-cooled flat-six producing 204 hp (European specification), equipped with Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and an aluminum crankcase.
This example belongs to the second generation of the 911 SC, introduced for the 1981 model year, when output increased to 204 hp.
The engine is paired with the Type 915 five-speed manual gearbox.

Did you know ?
In the late 1970s Porsche considered ending production of the 911 in favor of the newer 928.
The success of the 911 SC, produced from 1978 to 1983, proved the opposite and secured the future of the 911.
