2.7 CARRERA MFI

The cabin is trimmed in blue upholstery and fitted with sport seats.

This example is equipped with the three-spoke sport steering wheel with white stitching, a characteristic Carrera detail of the period.

Power comes from a 2,687 cc air-cooled flat-six producing 210 hp, equipped with Bosch mechanical fuel injection (MFI).

The engine uses the reinforced 7R magnesium crankcase, shared with the Carrera RS.

It is paired with the Type 915 gearbox.

When the Carrera RS 2.7 disappeared in 1974, Porsche quietly continued using its engine architecture in the Carrera 2.7.

In many ways, this model is the true continuation of the RS, just integrated into the new G-series body.
